Hermetically Sealed Sliding Door
Clean air is vitally important for good health. Hermetically sealed sliding doors are specially designed to control the clean air pressure in the room which is of utmost importance at a Hospital. The door is developed specially for operation theaters and sterile areas. Normally an operation theater runs on over pressure. At this pressure and leak age losses will still not be measurable due to the hermetic sealing property of the door. Core of the door blade is 60 mm thick and 4 mm thick without joint premium grade High Pressure Laminates on both side of 52mm thick injected polyurethane. This door core is framed with extruded aluminum profiles finished with natural anodizing. smart radius and curves on the edges makes the door cleaning very easy.
Hermetically Sealed Doors
The door has a unique patented track system that enables it to seal perfectly when closed helping to reduce air handling costs, cross contamination and wound infections. Faced with ledge-free HPL they are easy to clean and require minimal maintenance.
Sliding doors require less valuable space than hinged doors and when operated produce less air disturbance making them ideal for hospital environments where hygiene is a priority.
Heavy duty track is provided as single length aluminum extruded profile, which allows the door to go down vertically toward the floor and horizontally toward the wall frame while closing simultaneously at an angle of 45 degrees by using the weight of the door to make a perfect hermetic sealing. The spread of infection can be minimized with door automation and touchless sensors.
A specially designed lever opener made out of solid stainless steel is there to ensure effortless opening and closing of the door. An automatic door is operated through CE marked European automation specially designed for DORMED SYSTEMS hermetic sliding doors.
Technical Specifications of Dormed Hermetically Sealed Sliding Door:-
- Track : High grade aluminum extrusion profile to carry any door weight with deep indentations to ensure perfect hermetic sealing.
- Canopy : For HPCL Door:- Powder coated galvanized sheet over the full length of track with sloping top and closing caps.
Door Blade : Door core of 60mm thick built up with:-
- For HPCL: 4mm thick HPCL (High Pressure Compact Laminate) skin at both sides of the door to provide better strength and rigidity.
- CFC-free, high density polyurethane puff (density 40 kg/m3), thickness 52mm to provide better insulation.
- Door Profile : Door core is surrounded by 2.5 mm thick high grade aluminum extrusion profiles with natural anodizing of 15 microns finish. The aerodynamic design of profiles makes the door ROBUST in its segment league.
- Gaskets : Door blade is made with 3-tier specially designed 3 sides heavy duty replaceable EPDM gasket against wall frame. Bottom sealing with 2-tier heavy duty EPDM gasket to flush with the finished floor.
- Opener : Stainless Steel Dormed lever handle on both side of the door blade for smooth and easy door opening and closing OR for small door outside D-grip handle and inside flush grip.
- Window : High Quality double glazed flush vision window of 350mm X 350mm view size. Both sides flush with the door blade.
- Wall Frame : High grade Aluminum extrusion with natural anodized 15 micron finish wall frame profile. This wall frame profile is a 3-sided blind fixed with cladding on the wall cut-out section from inside and outside of the room.
- Cladding : The cut-out of wall section is covered with 1mm thick high pressure laminate glued on 9mm high density particle board.
- Acoustic : Sound reducing door up to 28db.
- Operation : Door can be opened/close manually or with automation.
- Weight : Complete door blade weight is 60 Kg approx and track assembly is 20 Kg.
- Sliding : Door can be open to Right Hand Slide OR Left Hand Slide.
